The Quantum@AIMS research group is offering a two-year postdoctoral fellowship focused on foundational mathematical questions at the intersection of quantum computing, machine learning theory, and cryptography. Applicants should ideally have a background in related areas and a strong motivation to pursue research in these directions.
Candidates must hold a PhD in physics, mathematics, or computer science by 31 December 2025. A solid mathematical foundation and a keen interest in conducting theoretical research in quantum computing are essential.
This position is funded by the DAAD, offering opportunities for collaboration with, and annual research visits to, Freie Universität Berlin.
