PhD Position in Mathematics (Graph Theory), Rhodes University
The Department of Mathematics at Rhodes University invites applications for a funded PhD position in Graph Theory, with preference given to candidates whose academic background and research interests are in Extremal Graph Theory.

Level: PhD
Start Date: January 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter
Eligibility: Applicants must provide evidence of a strong MSc-level background in Graph Theory. Prior exposure to Extremal Graph Theory will be considered an advantage. There are no nationality restrictions.
Funding: The position is supported by a bursary of R120 000 per annum. The funding is intended to support full-time doctoral study.
