Digital Education Council Postgraduate Research Fellowship 2026

The Digital Education Council (DEC) invites postgraduate researchers to apply for its 2026 Postgraduate Research Fellowship.

The fellowship offers researchers interested in artificial intelligence, digital education and emerging developments in higher education an opportunity to contribute to DEC’s international research activities. Selected fellows will support the design and delivery of DEC’s global Working Groups and contribute to research publications examining AI and other rapidly developing issues affecting higher education.

The opportunity may be particularly relevant to postgraduate researchers working in areas such as:

• Artificial intelligence in education
• Digital education and educational technology
• Digital transformation
• Emerging technologies
• Higher education policy and innovation
• Responsible technology adoption
• The future of universities

Through the programme, fellows can gain experience in collaborative research, international research initiatives and the development of publications for a global audience.
