The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at North-West University (Mahikeng Campus) invites applications for a permanent Senior Lecturer position (Peromnes Grade A7).
The role includes undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, and involvement in organisational and management tasks.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Mathematics (NQF Level 10), with expertise in areas such as Functional Analysis, Algebra, Topology, Number Theory, Algebraic Geometry, or Differential Geometry, and have at least three years’ university-level teaching experience, postgraduate supervision experience, and a strong publication record in accredited journals. Membership of professional societies (e.g., SAMS or AMS) and academic leadership experience will be advantageous.
