Rhodes University Physics and Electronics Department is seeking a suitably qualified candidate for a full-time MSc programme in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). The MSc research project is linked to the recently installed Rhodes University Transient Array Radio Telescope (RUTART) in Grahamstown.
Applicants must have a good background in electronic engineering / electronics / electromagnetics / maths or related fields. They must be South African citizens. However, non-SA citizens with PR or relevant study visas may also apply. Funding is for two years (R120K p/a). Funding for the second year is subject to satisfactory progress in the first year.
