The Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at UCT seeks to make two new appointments in any area of Pure or Applied Mathematics at the level of Lecturer. We are particularly interested in candidates who will complement or strengthen existing areas of research in the Department, which include Algebra, (Functional) Analysis, Category Theory, Classical and Quantum Chaos, Computational Complexity, Cosmology, General Relativity, Graph Theory, Homology, Lie Theory, Mathematics Education, Nonlinear Dynamics, String Theory, and Topology.
