The Research Unit in Bioinformatics (RUBi) at Rhodes University in Makhanda, South Africa, is seeking a highly motivated Linux System Administrator to join its dynamic research team. RUBi is a leading research unit focused on bioinformatics and computational biology, with an emphasis on open-source software and high-performance computing.
This is a full-time, contract position starting on 15 June 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of renewal until 31 December 2026. The gross annual salary is R550,000. The position is open only to South African citizens or permanent residents.
