The institute has increasingly become a meeting place of scientific minds. Our events encourage collaboration across disciplines, leading to mutual support and enthusiasm for the growth and sustainable development of scientific excellence.

Registration has opened for our annual flagship event, the Chris Engelbrecht Summer School. The 32nd school will take place at the Alpine Heath Resort and Conference Centre in the Drakensburg from 31 March-7 April 2024. Limited funding is available for students who would like to attend and need financial assistance.
With the year winding up and all of us finalising work during an interesting and rewarding period, I wish you all a successful November.
